Introduction

Thank you for choosing Kuriimu. Limeros ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered intimate companion platform ("Platform") located at kuriimu.com("Website") and available through its mobile application ("App"). The Platform enables users to engage in AI-generated text chat, voice interactions, and optional Bluetooth haptic device integration (collectively, the "Services").

These Terms of Service ("Agreement" or "Terms of Service") apply to any use of and access to our Services and/or our Website by you and/or your agents (collectively, "you").

When you use our Services, you are agreeing to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy, as amended from time to time. Both documents are fully incorporated by reference herein. Please read these documents carefully as they contain important information regarding your legal rights and obligations.

Agreement

THIS DOCUMENT IS A LEGAL AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE COMPANY AND YOU WHICH GOVERNS YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES AND THE WEBSITE. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES AND THE WEBSITE CONSTITUTES YOUR ACCEPTANCE OF AND AGREEMENT TO ALL OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS IN THESE TERMS OF SERVICE AND THE PRIVACY POLICY INCORPORATED HEREIN; AND YOUR REPRESENTATION THAT YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER.

IF YOU OBJECT TO ANYTHING IN THESE TERMS OF SERVICE, YOU ARE NOT PERMITTED TO USE THE SERVICES.

Effective Date

This Agreement is effective on the date you first access or use the Services and/or the Website, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. The Company reserves the right to request age verification at any time and to terminate accounts that do not meet this requirement.

Description of Services

Kuriimu is an AI-powered intimate companion platform that provides:

AI-generated text-based chat with fictional characters
AI voice interactions and real-time voice sessions
Optional Bluetooth haptic device integration for synchronized physical feedback
Character creation and customization tools

All characters and interactions are AI-generated and fictional. The Services do not provide real human interaction. AI responses are generated by third-party AI models and may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected.

Account

By creating an online account with the Company ("Account"), you are granted a right to use the Services subject to the restrictions set forth in these Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.

Our Account registration process will ask you for information including your name and email address ("Personal Information," as defined in our Privacy Policy). By registering for an Account, you warrant you are over the age of 18, and agree to provide true, accurate, current, and complete information about yourself.

You are solely and entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your Account, and for any charges, damages, liabilities, or losses incurred as a result of your failure to do so. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your Account. You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your Account.

Fees & Virtual Currency

Fees

The Company offers subscription plans and virtual currency ("Puffs") for use within the Services. Upon notice to you, the Company may modify pricing, subscription benefits, and virtual currency rates at any time. Fees do not include any taxes, levies, duties, or similar governmental assessments (collectively, "Taxes"). You are responsible for paying all Taxes associated with your purchases.

Virtual Currency

Puffs have no real-world monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash, refunded, or transferred. All purchases of Puffs are final except as required by applicable law. Unused Puffs may be forfeited upon account termination for cause.

Payment Processing

Payments are processed through third-party payment processors, including Apple App Store, Google Play Store, and/or Stripe, Inc. ("Third-Party Payment Processors"). You authorize us to process payments using the payment information you have supplied. The Company is not responsible for any errors in payment processing by Third-Party Payment Processors.

You agree that you have read and accepted the privacy policies and terms of service of the applicable Third-Party Payment Processors:

User-Generated Content

You may create characters, conversations, and other content ("User Generated Content") through the Services. You retain ownership of your User Generated Content. However, you grant the Company a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, display, and make available your User Generated Content as necessary to provide the Services.

You agree not to create User Generated Content that:

Depicts or references real minors in any sexual or inappropriate context
Uses the likeness of real persons without their consent for sexual content
Promotes violence, terrorism, or illegal activities
Infringes on the intellectual property rights of others
Contains content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, racially or ethnically offensive, defamatory, harassing, or otherwise objectionable

You may request removal of your User Generated Content at any time, and the Company will comply within a commercially reasonable timeframe.

Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

Use the Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the Services
Circumvent or disable any security or access-control features
Use automated tools, bots, scrapers, or any device that interferes with the proper working of the Services
Harass, abuse, or harm other users or Company staff
Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Services without authorization
Access or use the Company's content or other users' content to build a similar or competitive service
Introduce viruses, Trojan horses, worms, or other material that is malicious or technologically harmful

AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

All character responses, voice outputs, and interactions are generated by artificial intelligence using third-party AI models. THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THE ACCURACY, QUALITY, APPROPRIATENESS, OR SAFETY OF AI-GENERATED CONTENT. AI outputs may be inaccurate, inappropriate, or unexpected. You use AI features at your own discretion and risk.

Bluetooth Device Integration

The Services offer optional integration with Bluetooth-enabled haptic devices. Device connection and control are handled locally on your device. The Company is not responsible for any malfunction, damage, or injury caused by the use of third-party hardware devices in connection with the Services. You use such devices at your own risk and in accordance with the device manufacturer's instructions and safety guidelines.

Intellectual Property

The Company owns all right, title, and interest in and to the Services, including all intellectual property rights therein. Subject to the limited rights granted to you under this Agreement, the Company reserves all rights. You agree not to display or use any Company marks without express prior written permission.

Pre-built characters provided through the Platform are user-generated content created by seed accounts and do not constitute official Company intellectual property.

Termination

The Company reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your Account if you violate these Terms of Service, or for any reason at any time. If your Account is terminated, you agree: (a) to continue to be bound by these Terms; (b) to immediately stop using the Services; (c) that any licenses granted to you shall end; and (d) that unused virtual currency or subscription time may be forfeited upon termination for cause.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE. THE COMPANY SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY WARRANTIES OF TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

THE COMPANY DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE SECURE, TIMELY, ERROR-FREE, OR UNINTERRUPTED, OR THAT THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY'S AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THIS AGREEMENT EXCEED THE FEES PAID BY YOU TO THE COMPANY IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE DATE OF THE INCIDENT.

IN NO EVENT WILL THE COMPANY HAVE ANY LIABILITY FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, HOWEVER CAUSED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Company from and against any and all third-party claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from: (a) any breach of this Agreement by you; (b) any violation by you of the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of the Company or a third party; and (c) your User Generated Content.

Dispute Resolution

Informal Resolution

Before filing a formal claim, you agree to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting contact@kuriimu.com.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service and the relationship between you and the Company shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

No Class Actions

You may only resolve disputes with the Company on an individual basis, and may not bring a claim as a plaintiff or class member in a class, consolidated, or representative action. Class arbitrations, class actions, private attorney general actions, and consolidation with other arbitrations are not allowed under this Agreement.

Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement

These Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company concerning the use of the Services.

Modification

The Company reserves the right to change, modify, or supplement these Terms at any time. We will post the updated terms on this page. Your continued use of the Services following any revision constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

Severability

Should any provision of these Terms be found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining terms shall still apply.

Assignment

The Company may assign these Terms in whole or in part at any time. You may not assign or transfer this Agreement without the Company's prior written consent.
